Duck Dynasty: The Robertson Family TV Show Is About Traditional American Life - Jimmy Hall

I love the television show "Duck Dynasty." I even check-out and rent Duck Dynasty television episodes on dvds. Like most Americans, I appreciate their traditional American Values, Bible-Believing Faith in Jesus Christ, family time, and the good 'ol moral decency they present - which we Americans had basically lost by the late 1960s or early 1970s. America has certainly come a long way the last 4 or 5 decades, and much of it in reverse.

Can you imagine "erectile dysfunction" product ads on tv even a couple of decades ago? Gay weddings? Legal Pot? Over a million and a half innocent babies yearly murdered in their own mother's wombs? Discrimination against Christians, whose principles founded the United States? Enemy religions openly walking around American streets, even after attacking our nation and people numerous times? Enter the Robertsons.

Despite things being incredibly surreal, amid all this sinful societal nonsense, Duck Dynasty and the Robertson family bring us back to what we once were - and COULD be again. Their show (and to almost as great an extent their private lives) takes us back to Mayberry - with an extra dose of God and a few less lies.

Some Liberals and other non-Christians attack the show and its real-life characters, claiming they are prejudiced or homophobic! That is crazy. The Robertsons simply tell it exactly as God does in the Holy Bible. These Left-wingers are assaulting the messengers (Duck Dynasty), while insulting God and the millions of Americans that truly know Him personally (Born-again Christians).

Here is a hint for the Left: 29 of the signers of the American Declaration of Independence attended seiminary or were ministers, and most of the others were Christians (and even the Deists among them respected Christian Values). Hence, almost every single Founding Father admitted in words that our U. S. Constitution was based on Biblical Principles. End of story.

The fact is, Duck Dynasty is a clean and wholesome tv show. Anyone offended by it deserves to be offended by it, because their own lifestyles are wrong if anything about the show or Robertsons bothers them. By just being Christian people on tv and in private life, the show and its cast simply contrast against the numerous "acceptable cultural sins" that have crept into our society.
